‘Life is monotonous’, ‘life’s sucks man’, ‘I am pissed off’, we see people say this very often, that’s actually however beautiful their life is.
The point is everyone needs entertainment but somehow we have made the idiot box = entertainment.
The Idiot box, Gosh!!! Bloody hell who came up with that name, I mean that’s what I always feel. a…a…a… its past tense now . The television truly a genius who ever invented it. The sad thing is people got too damn lazy and made it TV, two letters I don’t think their can be anything shorter than this.
Lets face the truth the idiot box as we all know has so many channels and one of the leading network is the Star network. The star people apparently were a little more innovative and adventurous and so they started a TV show a competition for kids… result massive hit, millions of viewers were glued to the TV screens. It appears like the other networks behaved like the pre school children and copied the concept and so they started the new improved and modified TV show for kids and middle aged children that to in different languages Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, bla bla bla so on….
The tragic part was I go home switch on the TV right from 7pm all the channels I surf is either kids singing or dancing on top of that my mom “what talent children have got these days” the fact is 99% of the kids are their because of there parent pressure missing their child hood.
“Oooh my son’s on Z TV”
“Oooh my daughter Best dancing kid on sony TV ” vagara vagara vagara….
Okay I thought after two months these shows will get over
Two months passed, went home “Papapapaba season 2” oh my god people are still not out of this mood. Fine a year passed “ Papapapaba grand finale of the finale” a competition for all the finalist of different seasons.
Okay leaving the aunty shows aside
Six years ago MTV (the music TV) came up with a brilliant show MTV roadie every body knows how successful it is. Recently channel V must have gone under serious loss so the started this launch pad , decent earning for them but the craze continues MTV came up with new shows splits villa 2, Force India Fast and the furious, connected a reality show for twins, and now striped and desi launchpad and channel V with exhousted.
The awful part is when ever you turn to MTV one or the other repeat telecast of these reality shows keep running, Then why the hell Music TV man make it reality TV na…
God all these are idiotic. now I get it why its called the idiot box, because we the people are idiots watching other idiots perform no no no no ,. Overact no no no no, I think its show off.
